Hey guys, it’s me, Tanaka—some may call me Bibi. Some may not even know me but just the brand. I know it’s been a while since I last dropped clothes n you’ve seen this website—eight months to be exact.

My life has completely changed, and it’s been a rollercoaster. I’ve been through a lot these past few months from relocating back to the United States on a week’s notice for my aunty/second mother’s funeral in my old hometown of Dallas, Texas, to attending New York Fashion Week, losing my accommodation, and being stranded in the middle of Harlem with just my luggage. To then travelling to Zimbabwe for my grandmother’s funeral—just after being with her in upstate New York where she also raised me.

Life's moves brought me to —Italy, Ethiopia, Washington D.C., Baltimore, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands, Curaçao, Aruba, Jamaica, Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Atlanta… I’m probably forgetting some places, but that’s not the point. 

Life has literally felt like a movie. Met alot of cool people and saw alot of cool things that i'll forever cherish.

It’s 6 AM, and I’m in North Carolina as I'm writing this, feeling more settled and ready to release again. Through it all, I never stopped designing—I kept my laptop with me and stayed creating.

After months of growth, change, and evolving, I’m finally ready to share what I’ve been working on. Each future piece reflects my journey, the lessons I’ve learned, and the experiences that have shaped me. I appreciate everyone who’s stuck with me, and I can’t wait to share what’s next.

The wait is almost over— By the way due to 85% of my customers being in Sydney. My business partner will be dispatching orders to y'all from Sydney.
